2010 National Police Week 5k

It's that time of year again folks. Tomorrow I will run in my third National Police Week 5k. Like last year, when I picked up my race packet I was assigned an officer to run in memory of since I had not chosen anyone when I registered.



It is my honor to run for Assistant Chief Joseph Christopher Cannon of the Plumerville Police Department, who was shot and killed June 19, 2009, while making a traffic stop and discovering the vehicle was stolen. He was 2 weeks away from retirement after 27 years of law enforcement service.
